ABOUT ME

My name is Ryan, also known as rys.fx on social media. I’m a 19-year-old automotive content creator based out of Hollis, New Hampshire. Over the past few years, what started as something small and just for fun has grown into a passion that’s shaped who I am today, and something I’m determined to take even further. I started my page when I was 15 years old, not really thinking much of it. At the time, I had a Canon Rebel and was taking pictures for fun—nothing serious, no expectations, just enjoying the process with a few of my friends. Photography quickly became more than just a way to pass the time. It became my way of expressing creativity in a way I never could with traditional art. I wasn’t someone who could draw or paint, but through a camera, I found my own style.

At first, I spent a lot of time shooting landscapes and anything that caught my eye. It got me outside, away from screens, and helped me appreciate the world around me in a completely different way. Over time, everything started to click—composition, lighting, angles—and I began to see things differently. Photography wasn’t just taking pictures anymore; it was capturing moments and telling stories. Eventually, I got introduced to car photography, and everything changed. Growing up, I always had an interest in cars, so combining that with photography felt natural. I started going to car meets, connecting with people, and pushing myself to improve. Upgrading to my Canon EOS RP helped me take things more seriously, and I began surrounding myself with others who had the same passion. We learned from each other, pushed each other, and constantly worked to get better.

Then came a moment I’ll never forget—my first paid shoot. That feeling of getting paid for something I loved was unreal. It made me step back and think, “wow… this can actually work.” That moment changed everything for me. It showed me that this wasn’t just a hobby anymore—it had real potential. But the journey hasn’t been perfect. At one point, I lost a lot of my passion and motivation. I started comparing myself to others, feeling like I wasn’t improving fast enough or that I couldn’t compete. The drive I once had began to fade, and I fell into bad habits—procrastination, lack of focus, and choosing short-term comfort over long-term goals. I stepped away from something I genuinely loved because I was afraid of failing and questioning if it was even worth it. That was one of the hardest points in my journey.

Recently, though, things have started to change. With a new chapter in life, I’ve found that passion again. This time, it’s different. It’s stronger. I’ve realized that everyone I look up to started somewhere, and the only way forward is to keep going. I’ve been pushing myself to come back better than ever, giving 110% into everything I create. Investing in better gear, exploring videography, and expanding my creativity have made everything feel fresh again. At the end of the day, photography is more than just pictures to me. It’s an outlet, a passion, and something that’s helped shape my mindset, my work ethic, and my future. I’m grateful for how far I’ve come, but I know this is just the beginning. Here’s to the comeback, and more to come

WHY WORK
WITH ME?

For me, this isn't just a portfolio; it's a vision. Every frame is made to capture what I see through my eyes, and design it in a way that makes the world of cars seem that much more intriguing.

I have a strong work ethic with a drive to WANT to produce quality work. I take time and effort into my craft to make sure everything is exactly how I want it to look. I also want to make sure that my customers' visions are satisfied to their liking.

I believe every car has a story that deserves to be told through a professional lens. My goal is to bridge the gap between automotive culture and high-end editorial photography, providing enthusiasts and owners with imagery that reflects the hard work and pride they put into their machines.

With how hard it is to find experienced photographers & videographers, especially in the New England area, I truly think that you'll find success in working with me. Whether for content, social media, or safekeeping of some pictures to highlight your prized possession, you won't regret working with me!
